Dr. George Weiss is a diplomat of the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (ABBM), has served as a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), Age Management Medicine Group (AMMG), American Academy of Male Sexual Health (AAMSH); and Partner Physician at Cenegenics, accumulating more than three decades of clinical experience.
Dr. Weiss is also certified and trained in cosmetic and laser medicine for aesthetic enhancement and has been performing these aesthetic procedures for over 15+ years.
After graduating from Wayne State University (B.S. Psychology), U.A.G., and Rutgers Medical, Dr. Weiss finished his residency at UCSD Medical Center and subsequently entered private practice.
In 1985, Dr. Weiss established Personalized Medical Weight Loss Centers. He was also the Founder, CEO, and President of Southern California Men’s Centers.
With a lifelong interest in preventative medicine, in 1995, Dr. Weiss founded the Wellness and Longevity Medical Group of La Jolla, Inc.
Dr. Weiss uses cutting-edge, integrative approaches to help his patients achieve optimal health and well-being. This method incorporates the best of both conventional and integrative (complementary) medicine, slowing down the aging process by returning hormone levels to a more youthful state.
Dr. Weiss’ philosophy for living a long and healthy life is health from the inside out; to prevent disease whenever possible. To achieve this, he uses the latest techniques, including proper nutrition, supplementation, weight management, and exercise. He also focuses on hormonal balancing to improve your health and metabolism where necessary. This will help to achieve the true genetic potential for longevity and wellness.
Dr. Weiss has trained and traveled over the world and speaks five languages including; English, Spanish, French, Hungarian, and Romanian. Dr. Weiss currently resides in La Jolla.
