Dr. Kocka trained at the renowned Cleveland Clinic, where he completed his residency in Family Medicine with special training in Sports Medicine. He has been a Cenegenics physician since 2012 and currently serves as a partner physician.
Prior to joining Cenegenics, Dr. Kocka founded Premier Health Clinic, a preventive medicine, sports medicine, and wellness center. He also served as the Medical Director for Twinsburg Urgent Care and Twinsburg Health & Wellness Center. His leadership extended to NASA Glenn Research Center, where he was the Medical Director of the medical clinic, occupational health program, and fitness center.
Dr. Kocka served honorably as an officer in the Air Force Reserve for a decade, earning promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and acting as the Chief of Medicine for the 910th Medical Squadron.
In addition to board certification in Family Medicine, Dr. Kocka holds board certifications in Age Management and Regenerative Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the Age Management Medical Group. He is also physician-certified by the Cenegenics Medical Institute.
Beyond his medical expertise, Dr. Kocka brings unique experience from the world of combat sports. He has served as a ringside physician for the Ohio State Athletic Commission and as a physician for organizations such as the UFC, NAAFS, and King of the Cage. An accomplished athlete, he has won multiple natural bodybuilding and martial arts competitions and previously served as an instructor at Strong Style Mixed Martial Arts.
Though he has retired from competitive sports, Dr. Kocka remains deeply committed to weight training, functional training, exercise, nutrition, and overall health. He continues to practice the principles he teaches, embodying the lifestyle he encourages in his members.
