Dr. Renata Burigatto is a board-certified Family Medicine physician whose career uniquely blends clinical excellence, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to preventive, longevity-focused care. With experience spanning inpatient medicine, outpatient primary care, and health system leadership, she brings a comprehensive, systems-level perspective to optimizing long-term health and performance.
Dr. Burigatto earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Jefferson Hospital in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She began her career as a hospitalist at Jefferson Hospital before transitioning into outpatient medicine, where she played a key role in launching Jefferson’s first Primary Care Family Medicine practice at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
Driven by a passion for prevention and whole-person care, Dr. Burigatto later founded Proactive Integrative Wellness—a practice dedicated to proactive health strategies that integrate evidence-based medicine with personalized, preventive approaches. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she returned to the demanding environment of hospital medicine and most recently served as Director of Operations for the Penn Medicine Hospitalists at Penn Chester County Hospital.
Dr. Burigatto remains actively credentialed at Penn Chester County Hospital, where she serves as Secretary of the Department of Medicine, Hospitalist Chair for the Cardiovascular Section, and Inpatient Director for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Her leadership has extended into designing and implementing transitional care and quality improvement initiatives, particularly in cardiovascular health—work that earned her the 2024 Chester County Hospital Evidence-Based Practice Award.
At Cenegenics, Dr. Burigatto applies her extensive clinical and leadership background to personalized longevity medicine. Her professional interests include preventive care, hormone balance, cardiovascular optimization, and education—aligning seamlessly with the Cenegenics mission to move beyond reactive medicine toward data-driven, proactive health optimization.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Burigatto enjoys time with her husband and three children, staying active through adult sports, and remaining deeply engaged in her community. She embodies the Cenegenics philosophy: physician-led, precision-driven care designed to help individuals perform stronger and live healthier at every stage of life.
