I joined Cenegenics immediately after completing my family practice residency. Seeing Cenegenics patients—who enjoy life and are willing to work with you to achieve health goals—has been a rewarding experience. It’s exciting to witness the transformation patients undergo, getting fitter and, in some cases, no longer needing certain medications they’ve been on for 10 years or longer.”

After my first meeting with Dr. Mokhtare’s team, I learned that I didn’t have to settle for being in slightly better physical condition than most guys my age. I had been watching my diet (or so I thought) and doing quite a bit of resistance training but just couldn’t seem to make any progress. I was beginning to get burned out. Dr. Mokhtare taught me the value of Interval training (never heard of it), how I should be mixing up my resistance training, and how to establish and stick with a better healthy diet.
The old adage “Success breeds Success” is so true. As I’ve continued to follow their advice (and I request a lot of advice) I continue to improve and continue to be motivated. Mixing up the type of Interval and/or Steady Cardio training really helps keep it interesting. The same goes for my weight and abdominal training. I switch workouts about every 6-8 weeks and vary the weights used per set. For example, if I’m lifting three sets with 10 reps per set, I’d use 100lbs for the 1st set, 110lbs for the 2nd set, and 120lbs for the 3rd set. That way my strength and muscle growth don’t plateau.
The evaluation was eye-opening and detailed. I was able to learn valuable information about preventive health care and took away so much from the meeting with Dr. Leake. The entire process was easy, they came to my home at my convenience to draw blood and my office visit was exceptional and thorough. Everybody was welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Cenegenics to anybody interested in improving their quality of life.
I have been a client of the Cenegenics clinic for about nine years and the results of their age management program have been very impressive to me. I dropped my body fat from 17.99% to under 8% in the first five months of the program by following their exercise and supplement program. I recommend their services to anyone that is interested in staying healthy as they age.
My husband and I have recently had our first appointment at Cenegenics. It was a great experience. Starting with the very courteous front desk person, the very knowledgeable nutritionist Lindsey and the professional and compassionate Dr. Patel, everyone was very nice and welcoming.
After a series of tests, the doctor took her time to go over every single test we did and explained to us what they mean and how changes in our daily food regimen, as well as changes in our general fitness status (or lack of it), will improve our overall health.
Understanding all that was going on in our bodies made us get motivated to make drastic changes in our lives. Thank you to the Cenegenics team to open our eyes and guide us in the right direction. We would recommend Cenegenics to anyone that wants to have a better, healthier life. It was the most comprehensive exam we have ever had.
