Dr. Tim Watt is a nationally distinguished physician whose career uniquely bridges neurosurgery, military medicine, academic leadership, and longevity-focused preventive care. With more than three decades of experience at the highest levels of medicine, Dr. Watt brings unparalleled insight into brain health, metabolic optimization, and long-term human performance.
A Kansas native, Dr. Watt earned degrees in biology, chemistry, and psychology from Wichita State University before entering the MD/PhD program at the University of Kansas, where his graduate research focused on seizure disorders. He completed his surgical internship and residency in neurological surgery at SUNY Upstate Medical University, conducting award-winning research on brain tumors along the way.
Dr. Watt served honorably in the U.S. Army, including deployment with the 357th Combat Support Hospital as Chief of Surgery and later at Tripler Army Medical Center as Assistant Chief of Neurosurgery and Head of Pediatric Neurosurgery. Following his military service, he entered private practice while holding academic appointments at the University of Nebraska Medical School, Union College, and the University of South Dakota Medical School—contributing to both medical education and clinical advancement.
In 2003, Dr. Watt’s focus shifted decisively toward wellness, prevention, and longevity. He became the first physician ever to achieve board certification in both Neurosurgery and Anti-Aging Medicine, later completing fellowships in Anti-Aging Functional and Rejuvenative Medicine, Metabolic Medicine, and Functional Endocrinology. He is a Fellow of both the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
After 35 years in neurosurgical practice, Dr. Watt made the deliberate decision to step away from surgery to work full time at Cenegenics. His motivation was clear: preventing disease and preserving cognitive and physical performance offers a far greater impact than intervening after irreversible decline. At Cenegenics, Dr. Watt applies his deep understanding of the brain-body connection, hormones, and metabolism to help members remain sharp, strong, and resilient throughout life.
Dr. Watt exemplifies the Cenegenics philosophy—physician-led, science-driven, and relentlessly focused on helping individuals not only live longer, but perform at their highest level for decades to come.
