Dr. Claudia Villate is the President of Cenegenics Puerto Rico. In 2005, she completed her training and fellowship and became certified in Age Management Medicine by the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF).
After completing her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. and in 1997 becoming Board Certified she moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. There she served as a staff physician at two of the main hospitals: Auxilio Mutuo and Pavia Hospitals. She also worked for AeroJet Medical Services, transferring critically ill patients all over the world. Concurrently, she became a certified medical review officer, spending two years working in the field of preventive and occupational medicine for important corporations operating in Puerto Rico.
In 2000 she became Staff Internist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan for 4 years and, in addition to her clinical duties, she served as a professor for the Internal Medicine Residency Program of that institution. During that tenure, she was chairman of Quality Performance at the VA Hospital, where her objectives were always directed toward age management and preventive medicine for aging veterans.
During this period, she became interested in Age Management Medicine and in 2005 joined Cenegenics and established Cenegenics Puerto Rico.
In 2014 Cenegenics International was founded because of the opportunity of establishing Cenegenics centers throughout the world. In partnership with her Entrepreneur husband, they have opened centers in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, London, & Greece, and in the near future Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and other countries throughout the world.
It has been a lifelong dream to be a physician who can be part of changing the paradigm of Disease based medicine to actively having a medical practice based on prevention and with Cenegenics this dream has become a reality.
