Dr. Bhavesh Patel is a board-certified physician and nationally respected leader in Age Management and Functional Medicine, with more than 17 years of clinical experience dedicated to optimizing vitality, resilience, and long-term performance for both men and women. His work centers on an often under-addressed yet critically important truth: longevity is not just about avoiding disease—it’s about sustaining strength, clarity, and energy at every stage of life.

Dr. Patel began his medical career in Urgent Care, Occupational Health, and Emergency Medicine, where he gained extensive experience treating acute illness and complex conditions. As he observed the increasingly reactive nature of traditional healthcare, his curiosity pushed him beyond the clinic. He stepped away from clinical medicine to spend two years on Wall Street as a biotechnology and pharmaceutical research analyst, evaluating emerging therapies, attending major medical conferences, and engaging directly with leading researchers shaping the future of medicine.

That experience transformed his perspective. Dr. Patel returned to medicine with a renewed focus on prevention, optimization, and systems-based care—rather than symptom-driven treatment. Ten years ago, he founded the Cenegenics Chicago practice, where he has since guided hundreds of members through highly personalized longevity programs designed to enhance performance, restore balance, and protect long-term health.

At Cenegenics, Dr. Patel applies an integrated, comprehensive approach rooted in advanced diagnostics and education. His programs address nutrition, fitness, supplementation, hormone optimization, and medical management as interconnected levers—working together to produce measurable, sustainable outcomes. His training in Functional Medicine further supports his whole-body approach, treating the individual as a dynamic system rather than a collection of isolated symptoms.

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Rush University and completed his residency at UIC/Illinois Masonic. He lives in Chicago with his wife and daughters and brings the same curiosity and energy to life outside the clinic—enjoying music, Chicago sports, problem-solving, tennis, biking, and commuting to work by electric skateboard whenever weather permits.
