Dr. Claudia Villate is a physician-leader, international healthcare executive, and pioneer in Age Management Medicine whose career has been defined by a singular mission: transforming medicine from a disease-centered model into one rooted in prevention, performance, and longevity. As President of Cenegenics Puerto Rico and Chief Medical Officer of Cenegenics International, she plays a critical role in advancing physician-led longevity medicine across the globe.
Dr. Villate completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and became board-certified in Internal Medicine in 1997. Following her training, she relocated to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she served as a staff physician at Auxilio Mutuo and Pavia Hospitals. Her early career also included work with AeroJet Medical Services, providing care for critically ill patients during complex medical transports worldwide, an experience that refined her clinical judgment and global medical perspective.
Concurrently, Dr. Villate became a certified Medical Review Officer and spent several years working in preventive and occupational medicine for major corporations operating in Puerto Rico. In 2000, she joined the Veterans Administration Hospital in San Juan as a staff internist, where she also served as a professor in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. During her tenure, she was appointed Chairman of Quality Performance, leading initiatives focused on prevention, performance improvement, and proactive care for aging veterans.
It was during this period that Dr. Villate became deeply committed to Age Management Medicine. In 2005, she completed fellowship training and certification through the Cenegenics Education & Research Foundation and established Cenegenics Puerto Rico, bringing a new model of precision, prevention-first care to the region.
In 2014, recognizing the growing global demand for personalized longevity medicine, Dr. Villate co-founded Cenegenics International. In partnership with her entrepreneurial husband, she has helped expand Cenegenics centers across Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, London, and Greece, with additional international locations, including Ho Chi Minh City, planned for the future.
Dr. Villate’s lifelong vision has been to help shift the medical paradigm from reactive disease management to proactive, individualized prevention. Through Cenegenics, that vision has become reality, impacting physicians, members, and communities worldwide. Her leadership embodies the Cenegenics mission: physician-led, science-driven longevity care that empowers individuals everywhere to live stronger, healthier lives at every stage.
