Dr. John Kocka is a Partner Physician at Cenegenics and a highly respected leader in longevity, performance, and preventive medicine. Trained at the renowned Cleveland Clinic, he completed his residency in Family Medicine with advanced specialization in Sports Medicine—laying the foundation for a career centered on optimizing human performance and long-term health.

Dr. Kocka has been a Cenegenics physician since 2012 and brings a rare combination of clinical excellence, leadership experience, and real-world performance medicine to his members. Prior to joining Cenegenics, he founded Premier Health Clinic, a comprehensive preventive and sports medicine practice, and served as Medical Director for both Twinsburg Urgent Care and Twinsburg Health & Wellness Center.

His leadership extends beyond traditional healthcare settings. Dr. Kocka served as Medical Director for NASA’s Glenn Research Center, overseeing the medical clinic, occupational health program, and fitness center, an experience that reflects his ability to manage complex systems where performance, safety, and precision matter most.

A decade-long officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Dr. Kocka rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and served as Chief of Medicine for the 910th Medical Squadron. His service instilled a disciplined, mission-driven approach that continues to shape his medical philosophy today.

In addition to board certification in Family Medicine, Dr. Kocka holds board certifications in Age Management and Regenerative Medicine and is physician-certified by the Cenegenics Medical Institute. His expertise is further distinguished by extensive experience in combat sports medicine, having served as a ringside physician for professional athletic commissions and major organizations, including mixed martial arts promotions at the highest level.

An accomplished athlete, Dr. Kocka has earned multiple titles in natural bodybuilding and martial arts and previously served as an instructor in mixed martial arts training. Though retired from competition, he remains deeply committed to weight training, functional fitness, nutrition, and recovery—living the principles he teaches and embodying the Cenegenics promise of lifelong performance.
